What is AI Mavericks?
AI Mavericks is a practical AI community based in Doha, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, connecting people across the Gulf. It runs weekly conversations, monthly practitioner sessions and workshops, and a flagship event, AI Mavericks Live. Its purpose is a community-led AI transformation of society, built around three ideas: educate, connect, inspire.
Where is AI Mavericks based?
AI Mavericks is based in Doha, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Community sessions are held in Doha at the IBW Center of Excellence and online, and AI Mavericks Live Summit 26 takes place in Abu Dhabi.
How is the community active through the year?
Weekly conversations and community exchange, monthly practitioner sessions and workshops, and training, showcases and sector programmes across the year. AI Mavericks Live is the community's flagship gathering. Past sessions are listed on the Events page.
Who can join AI Mavericks?
Business and technology leaders, founders and startups, practitioners, investors, universities and anyone working with AI. You can join through the community form on this site.

When and where is AI Mavericks Live Summit 26?
AI Mavericks Live Summit 26 is planned for 10-12 December 2026 at Yas Conference Centre, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The main keynote day is Saturday 12 December.
Are there other AI Mavericks Live events planned?
A Doha event is planned for March 2027 and a Riyadh event for April 2027. Both are marked "coming soon" and their exact dates and details are not yet announced.
Who is delivering the Summit?
AI Mavericks presents the Summit, with delivery support from the International Business Week (IBW) team.
Are tickets on sale?
Ticketing details have not been announced. The current form collects interest only, not a ticket reservation.
How many people are expected?

What is the Innovation Showcase?
Working AI, enterprise agents and Physical AI demonstrations are part of the proposed accelerator programme. The final lineup will follow confirmation.
What are the founder and startup sessions?
Sessions that connect emerging solutions with the wider ecosystem of operators, partners and supporters. The format is being planned and is subject to confirmation.
How can my organisation partner with the event?

Do partners influence the programme?
Programme curation and speaker selection remain with the organisers. Partners contribute knowledge, technology, reach and support.
Can I apply to speak or demonstrate a solution?
Yes. Use the "Partner, Speak or Demonstrate" path in the registration section. Speakers and demonstrations are confirmed by the programme team before anything is published.
When will the programme and speakers be announced?
The programme and speakers will be announced once confirmed.
Are AI Mavericks sessions recorded?
Some are. Recordings of the 12 August AI for Leaders session and the 23 September AI & Robotics for Construction session are on the Events page. Recording details for the Summit have not been announced.
What is the AI Mavericks Accelerator and who is it for?
The Accelerator helps AI product companies from outside the Gulf set up in Qatar and the wider Gulf, then grow there. It is for early-stage AI companies that already have a working product and customers elsewhere. Enterprise AI, agents and Physical AI teams are a natural fit. It starts with a conversation, not an application form.
